CTLT has been a key partner working with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and the National Center for the Improvement of Educational Assessment to build capacity and provide support to educational leaders in implementing the Colorado Growth Model. As other states have implemented the Colorado Growth Model, CTLT has provided similar support in other states.
CTLT works with district and state department leaders and supports school leaders and educators as they implement the Growth Model by providing the following services:
- Strategic planning for building stakeholder capacity to use data from the Colorado Growth Model;
- Designing and customizing Growth Model learning resources to support stakeholder understanding and use of Growth Model data; and
- Direct provision of professional development for educators and educational leaders. Growth Model Basics ½ day, Using Growth Model Data in Planning full day, Incorporating Growth Model Data into educator and principal evaluation full day.
